About Us

-    Our kennel is located in the San Luis Valley, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains of southwestern Colorado.  The rural setting provides a great place for raising and training Labs.  Our home and kennels sit on thirty-four acres of land and our dogs love the room to retrieve and exercise.

-    In the late 90‘s, we got a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, named Taz, as a companion and hunting dog.  Impressed by the breed’s intelligence, trainability and versatility, we knew we wanted to have more to do with the Labrador.  As we have hunted with, trained and bred Labs for the last 10 years, we have fallen in love with our Rocky Mountain Labradors over and over again.  The kindness and versatility of the breed explains why they are currently the most-registered purebred dog breed in the American Kennel Club.  (www.akc.org)

-    We are proud to be one of the few breeders of AKC Silver Labrador Retrievers in the western part of the country.  Many people are drawn to the silver Lab’s unique coloring, which is an expression of a recessive trait of the chocolate color.  For more information on our silver Labs, please see the Information Page of this site.
